Why should I care? It's a cheap car, that isn't special. It will never be worth any real money. I'm going to enjoy it, and not waste my time fucking around with wax or touch up paint for it to get ruined the next time I take a drive. I drive this car all year round. Shit is going to happen to it, and it's not worth worrying about it

I got a quote earlier this year... 350 for half hood and fenders, and then 780 with bumper. Fuck that. I'll just get everything touched up, then get a vinyl wrap every 7 years haha

When I was getting the slit in the side of mine fixed I asked about the bumper. They said about $800 with receipt or $500 cash. I declined as I knew in a month or so it would probably look the same anyway. I just touch up the spots that get to metal and live with the bumper. I know the chips are there but not one single other person has ever said anything about them and I have had to point them out to some.

Funny, I've owned black cars and it's by far the worse. Ever scratch the paint and it shows up white? Like that.

Its more meaningful to me. Mine is at least. Id take care of it because itd take care of me... hopefully i dont end up sleeping with the fishes. To me its not a cheap car because i worked hard for it. Word. Worst for black imo are the swirls. They show clear as day.

Edit: also just because I don't fix rock chips doesn't mean I don't take care of things that matter. You sound like a baby |

Last I checked, a vinyl wrap is way more expensive than a PPF and doesn't last nearly as long.
