Cool, can you do this with the USB or do you have to take the map SD card out?

To load a new background? You have to use the SD card method described in this thread (although you should eject the SD card correctly first, I don't think if that was in the walkthrough or not).

To switch back and forth between your custom one and the standard one you just have to change the setting in the menu described in my post above.

It was not, I'll add that info to the post and pdf in the morning! Good catch.

What we have learned from playing with it is the screen ratio is not quite 16:9.

I loaded a logo on ours and it skewed it down a bit on the vertical side making our logo look short and fat.

When I have a free minute I plan on trying a few different variations on size to get the correct aspect ratio.

HA, perfect.

Thank you. For some reason reading the manual did not even come to mind.

This was the first thing I did in the dealership parking lot.
Ended up using a batman one until I photochop something up.

This will probably get REALLY big, so I may edit it, but this is what I'm using.

My buddy took it of my car Tuesday night.

I plan on this one...pulled the image from TexAgs.com and re-sized it.
Although much smaller (986x554), it should still be PLENTY of resolution for the screen.
