What are things I should know before deciding on this car? Anything else I should know? I'm super depressed and want some input to see if this car is right for me Thanks

I had a 90 gt and a 94 gt-s. The FR-S feels like what the celica should have been, but it's a very similar experience day to day, same low stance and low seat height / driving position.

One thing though, the FR-S feels heavier, my 94 celica was about 300 lb. lighter and had more torque from the 2.2...but the FR-S is better everywhere else.

TC gets worse mileage than the FR-S.

I owned a 95 convertible and had it until just after I bought my FRS. It's definitely a different beast, but if you loved your Celica it will not take long to love your FRS.

I sold my 1990 Celica GTS(145,000km.) after I bought my FRS. The 1990 was preceded by a 1976, 1984, & 1986 Celica. The 1984 was totalled by a Lady in a parking lot! The lucky part is you have something like the FRS to even replace a Celica! I think it would have been fine with regular gas and more bottom end torque, but it handles great. And I actually like the paddle shift AT!!

Cheers
