Yeah the old MPS were maybe what you'd call 50-60% "efficient", the TVS are more like 70-74% efficient which is slightly below what most twin-screw blowers are. It uses 4 lobes twisted at a greater angle than the MP which is 3 lobes. In the end the TVS is still "shoving" air into the engine and that is what causes the compression. Since the air is being shoved into the engine it typically heats up the air more than a twin-screw which is why intercooling is more important. With a good intercooler setup, it's kind of a wash power wise. It's why the base Innovate can get away with not having an intercooler.
As much as it may pain some people to see I was planning on drilling/tapping the manifold pre-post IC to see the temperature drop. |

Congrats. I inquired about these a few months ago. Decided to stay NA. I won't bs I'm still tempted but this is likely low probability mod for me.

Yeah the surface isn't great but looking inside the runners it's actually very smooth on the inside.
I did some measurements today and the total height is 12" which will easily clear the hood, but no strut bar is going to fit with it. It seems like the stock bracing will just clear. I was worried about the driver side fuel rails since one of the hard lines sits in the gap between the runners, but they thought ahead and put a relief in the casting for it. The fuel rail guards of course all have to take a hike. |

It sounds like someone bought the other one very shortly after I posted this. Who was it?
