So UPS dropped this off today

As some may or may not be aware Ken Stout Racing isn't racing their FR-S anymore, and are selling off the parts they have. I bought one of the 4 TRD S/Cs they have. Two of the other three are selling with built engines they have for sale, and afaik they have one of the TRD S/C left. This one was brand new still in the box from TRD.

It came with 5 different sized pulleys, a bunch of belts, the mounting brackets for the tensioner/idler, crank pulley, and also came with a 80MM sized throttle body. I don't know what this TB came off of but it has the same hoses/plugs as the stock car but it's 10mm larger. Also came with a beefy Bosch pump. What I will need to supply is a heat exchanger and all the water lines along with a new intake and whatever else comes along since it's not PnP exactly. You also lose your A/C. It weighs right around 40lbs.

Internally it's an Eaton TVS1320. On Sunoco GTX260 (98 octane) they made 350WHP/280ft-lbs with it at around 14PSI with >250ft-lbs from around 3500RPM on, but it makes 200ft-lbs at like 2500RPM.

They started off with a Crawford block when they needing something in a hurry. Their later engines last year and newer built ones were completely built by Steve Schmidt engines which is a shop in NC. They usually build NASCAR type engines but know what they are doing. I can't say how much I paid for it, but they are selling the other one for $5K.

Wow that's nice! I've seen those TVS blowers used in other applications and they work quite well.

This thing makes enough power that I'd be uncomfortable with it on a stock engine...
