Taste is styling. Sadly, for our cars, it seems to be stylish to color-match your emblems to your mirror covers and carbon-wrap your roof and OEM wing.

Now someone who is truly a car person or a driving enthusiast wouldn't care for these things. They're extras that serve no purpose whatsoever. The suspension components on my car add a larger degree of adjustability and allows for a proper drop or OEM-like ride height. How are these not considered valuable? How does this decrease the value? To be honest the difference is between who's a 'ricer' and someone who loves to drive. One would love to be able to adjust things to his/her liking and the other just wants the 'car guy/girl' moniker. Do you want to be an enthusiast? Or appear to be one?

I agree that what you did are not tacky or ricer mods at all. You just have to find the right person who wants exactly what you did and is willing to pay more than a stock used car to get them. Everyone is just speculating. Price the car where you feel it should be and see what happens. If it does not sell for the price you want either keep it, lower the price and consider parting it out.

imo, those mods really only put the car towards the top of what a stock cars value would be worth. it seems like you are just asking for people to confirm what you want to hear and i might be wrong but i wouldnt pay more for your car than i would for a stock one with similar miles.

OK I'm curious now how much would a almost stock frs go for with a vortech supercharger let's say stock wheels suspension everything except blower

Maybe 2k above a clean stock one. People are very scared about buying another persons boosted car. You don't know if it was installed right, tuned right or beat on. I think it would take time and be a tough sell.

Yup very true unless you find a guy that's looking for that route and doesn't want to spend 6k and a headache on that stuff
