Yea. Does not work. Most females (read: NOT ALL) see vehicles as an object that gets them from point A to point B, and in the process, will acquire some type/form of damage.

You know, I like the comparison to women's fashion because women DO tend to buy nice things (like expensive shoes), beat the crap out of them, and buy more nice things. I think guys tend to buy nice things and baby them. Of course, I think guys tend to have more expensive hobbies.

My wife is very anal about her car, but wont listen to anything I say about mine (no eating, etc.). It's ok though, we have a gravel driveway, so I cannot keep it clean for the life of me. I once broke 2 of those stinkbombs in her car on purpose after she spilled food in mine.

That didn't turn out quite as nice lol

I drop my son off at Pre-K, and they have the teachers unload the kids from the cars at the curb for expediency. Could be a different teacher every day.

The first time a teacher slammed the door closed by the window, I cringed. I thought all morning about how to tell the teachers not to do that. Then I just decided to roll down the window when I drop off my kid. They still tend to slam the hell out of the door, but I can live with that, I guess.

My wife sent my son to school with a glass of milk last week. Uh, no. She was pissed.

I absolutely agree that most people view cars as an object for transportation only.
The key is to find something that they value for a comparison.

Like their lil fluffy, strictly as an accessory, toy (insert dog breed here).

Every time she slams the door. Kick the dog!

Yea, I thought about that.... but for me, most guys that get in my car, do not give me any issues... except for that one time, I let a guy check my car out and he sat in the driver seat with a lit cigarette Luckily, no harm done.

Guys bug me about driving it, even after I say no. My boyfriend hasn't even driven the new one yet (he doesn't give me shit about it though--he has his own toy).

I don't know if it's because I don't hang around car guys, but everyone slams my door or uses the glass or doesn't mind their feet or rubs the dash. It's QUITE frustrating...
