i wouldn't consider a 2 seat car.........my kids would have to be either strapped on the roof, or running after the car
also at one point, i had my two kids in their car seats, and my small friend in the back.....she wasn't comfortable, but she did fit |

I enjoy the trunk space but if it were to come down to it I would definitely take out my back seats for the weight reduction.

They don't. Number of seats, number of doors, or color have no direct bearing on insurance rates. It's just that most 2 seater cars also happen to be expensive sports cars which cost more to insure so somehow people incorrectly assumed that 2 seater means expensive insurance.
Just look at insurance rates for Nissan Zs or Mazda Miatas. They are relatively reasonably priced 2 seater cars and their insurance rates are the same as cars of similar value regardless of the number of seats. |

If the twins were only a two seater I just would've just bit the bullet and went for a (more expensive) Nissan 370Z (just as impractical but faster). The vestigial back seats make the car almost seem passenger friendly and practical (until you get a good look at them or try to sit in them).

My kids were too big for strollers by the time I got the BRZ, but a small stroller ought to easily fit in the trunk.
