Just say IF Toyota put this auto rev and it still have throttle problem, it doesn't solve anything. If the auto rev is turned on and car go wacky, applying brake won't shut down the engine, due to overwrite of the shut off engine program cuz by auto rev... but those time just push the clutch in and put it in neutral.
What?

I have to agree with Biggie on this one.

If the ECU goes bananas while blipping the throttle will it engage the safety feature or will it continue to accel while trying to brake because the ecu has 2 conflicting commands, one to blip the throttle and another to cut fuel?

Clutch is the only failsafe for this scenario.

I didn't know they made a synchro rev match for a manual.
I haven't heard anything about them offering an auto, whereas I've heard several mentions of Aisin manuals and MT in general..

If the ECU goes "bananas" at any point of operation you will have problems. If you are suggesting they base every scenario off of possible erratic ECU behavior why not just go back to carbs...

I hope the transmission is as raw as possible. We need "user error"... it makes driving that much more exciting!

Please don't ruin a good concept by giving it synchro rev match. This would be a deal breaker for me.
