To you guys who assume price and quality are inversely related, I get where you're coming from but you've got to see the obvious logical falacy in that argument. Explain how the cost of anything causes it to be of lower quality of something else. Key inference being causation... example... two kids have a lemonade stand. One kids stand is all done up he's got his parents and friends out to help him push his lemonade and he charges $4 a cup claiming that the juicing process that he uses is superior and is his justification for his prices. The other kids stand is a bit more humble, No pushers no fancy juicers no gimmicks just a product that is in essence the same as the first kids only he charges $1 per cup... how can you assume kid As lemonade tastes better than kid Bs?

Your logic is heavily flawed. Your analogy refers to a company selling a product and not the product itself.

1) You might be able to get a regular BMW for the price of an M-series, but you will never get an M-series for the price of a regular.
2) You can also note the price difference between 100% carbon fiber parts, versus carbon covered fiberglass parts.

With that said, a bolt made from some super alloy will always cost more than a steel variant.

Sure they're cheap and not geared towards most of the posters in this thread (including me) but not everybody tracks or drifts the car. There's also those who spend thousands on wheels, turbo kits, etc. but only end up being red light racers and go to car shows. No need to hate, there's a market for these.

And that OE quality crap? It's all just marketing. You ever read what it says on a jar of cheap peanut butter or even in a McDonalds commercial? They all say they're the 'best', made from the best ingredients, etc. Same crap going on here.

Too many analogies and comparisons in this thread lol if you dont like them dont buy them, but like it or not they will sell and slowly I guarantee theyll start popping up on the forum. No point in arguing over the inevitable people.

you missed the point. the products are the same. the pricing is different. I'll reduce it further. Lets just say Racelands were $2500. Would you then assume Racelands were better than BCs or whatever else that are cheaper simply because BCs are lower in price?

The analogy is more like this:

Kid A is selling lemonade for $2 a cup.
Kid B is selling "lemonade" for $0.02 a cup.

I'm sorry, but the yellow liquid you're drinking from Kid B is not lemonade....

There's no way around it, Racelands are crap. Do they get the job done for some people? Yeah I guess so. Some people are perfectly happy with crap. There's a place in the market for crap. That's great.

I would prefer stock personally. I'd prefer Eibach Sportlines if you really want a big drop on a budget without caring about ride or handling.

And that's the only time I'll comment on Racelands....

A better analogy would be that the kid is selling "lemonade" at $0.25/gallon, versus the going market rate of $2/gallon at the grocery store, or $1.50 at Costco/Sam's/etc.

If they thought they could sell it for $2500, and make their profit margin 10x larger, they would. They'd only need to sell 1/10 the volume to maintain the same gross.

What do you think a BMW 5 series costs to make? Just materials and labor.

Raceland's are super bouncy... this is from all my friends that rode on them 240s/A4/miata and got rid of them because of they were just to bouncy, and my two friends with the older A4s had gone threw 2 sets, but raceland does replace them under warranty if you are within the time frame... but to each their own, get them and let us know how they ride...

Sorry want me to rephrase it to vw kids who's parents don't buy them air?

I wasn't judging character I was laughing at stereotypes. All stereotypes are funny.

Sorry for shit talking your choice in pants.

Go spend some time on vortex you'll see what I mean.
