I suggest bringing a rubber ducky, because the interior of the Camaro is like sitting inside of a bathtub.

Ask yourself if you like going in a straight line fast. If you do, trade it in. Because that Camaro won't do anything else besides that.

Red face

I'd say you should trade it first, you can always come back anyway.

If you want power that badly and think the Camaro handles pretty good, make the trade. What's stopping you?

Maybe that's not the answer you were expecting on an FR-S board, but it sounds like you want one pretty badly.

I talked to a guy at a gas station once he was driving a Camaro, and he was drooling over my car. He wanted to swap. I was trying to be nice and was like oh yeah such a nice ride.

I wouldn't trade my car for two camaros.

We spent the majority of the conversation on the FRS.

I was looking at nearly every car on the market, new and 'older' cars (like the S2K and M3). Ford, Chevy and Dodge don't have a single car to entice me. They look okay and are insanely popular (oddly I don't like that). The Camaro and Challenger are 22" wheel sporting cars. They aren't tight, nimble, jackets that you slip on and take to the track.

If you want to go fast from one red light to the next then I guess you can stick to the American cars. I chose the FR-S after a lot of looking and constant test drives at every dealership in Raleigh. I finally admitted that the FR-S felt fantastic but it was missing the power a person my age wants in a weekend toy. So a turbo was a given. I can play with this car on straight aways and in the corners. And that's what makes me smile about the car. I'll always find someone in a faster car no matter what you buy. But I feel like I found what fits me and makes me happy.

If you've never driven a turbo FR-S you need to before you really make a decision. It could completely change your mind.

I agree with this. What I would do is start slow. 2 best bang for your buck additions are headers and a tune. Also a few vendors like FA20Club allows you to buy the headers now, and add there drop in turbo kit down the road without having to replace the header. I am leaning towards this way. Get a nice power bump now and get rid of the torque dip and then add there base turbo kit which will give you around 280 RWHP and 210 WTQ. Those are crazy good numbers on just about 6psi of boost.

I talked to Crawford on Father's Day at willow springs raceway.. He was telling me how insane that BRZ is.. To the tune that its too much really.. That he can spin 6th if he wants to.. What's the point lol?? To brag about your masculinity?? He was in a blue BRZ and was just talking about how much he has learned about the NA tuning and how much he enjoys that blue car..

BUT without giving things away.. A certian magazine tested a certian car and put down numbers in certian tests that's in the top 5 cars ever tested.. So Crawford did the car right.. I'm waiting for that issue

As @carbonBLUE said, my Supra is available! Precision 61mm at 23psi with lots of mods! ~500hp. If you want speed, look nowhere else! it's got a Boostlogic Auto to put all that power down too.

Although, if I were you, I would never trade my FRS for a built Supra, or a Camaro, or any other muscle car. You won't feel satisfied in the end. The only reason I drive the Supra now is to listen to chuchuchuchu noises, but 9 times out of 10, I'm in the FRS.

Go autocross your car for like $30 bucks and then decide if you need more power.
