June 28th 2013: Speed ventures
I'll prove with a img of the time sheet and video when I make it. I actually forgot to turn the camera on until the corkscrew and it was still my fastest! But I have a lot of low 50's to back up the 49.7. I wish it wasn't so hot or I think the car would have done a 48.xx.

mods: Feal coilovers, 245 bfg rivals, 17x9 rpf1, brakes: hp+(f)/hps(r), motul fluids

Not sure if anyone did a Mid-Ohio Club Course yet. I know this won't be the fastest time by a twin either way, but pretty close to stock car....

1:48.709 was my fastest on the club course yesterday. Car has 225/45/17 BF Goodrich Rivals, a Whiteline 22mm front bar, and Ferodo DS2500 pads with Motul fluid. Other than that, it's bone stock down to the alignment. Didn't get video from that lap, but here's a session later in the day when my tires were cooked:

Can't wait to do my STX/TTD build and shave some time

Virginia International Raceway (Full) / 2:24:63 / Josh Adams / July 7, 2013 / Ohlins Road and Track, Essex AP Racing Sprint BBK, Ferodo DS-Uno/DS-2500, Crawford Performance AOS, Dunlop Z2 235R40

Fastest lap at 17:35

This was during my last session of the event. My goal was to beat Mike Skeen, a professional racer, who took a bone stock FR-S (with passenger) around at 2:24.75. I managed to beat him (barely) but given my upgrades I know I left a fair amount of time on the track. Pretty happy with it though, considering it was my first time at VIR Looking forward to going back to VIR in November and shooting for a 2:20.

Bone stock FRS full interior. The only mod I have is an APR splitter. At PIR Portland International Raceway
1:46.72 was my fastest time.

Like ja1217 Mike Skeen is my bogey time. I actually had his father as my instructor over the weekend. I'm a little disappointed that by the end of the event I wasn't at the same level as Mike

Like I said, given my upgrade advantage I wasn't on the same level either. Pretty sure my car is capable of something in the 2:20-22 range, which is what I'm going to be shooting for when I go back to VIR in November.

Also, what group did you run with?

I ran with the Tarheel Sports Car Club. They really do run a class event. Great instructors, and always on schedule.
