Either get John to get you a map with a 9 psi or so boost cut or remove your wastegate and change the springs inside to a lower wastegate pressure. If you only want to run 7 psi, then you should run just the red spring in your wastegate for a pressure of 5.6 psi.

If you are still worried and the AFR is fine outside of boost, then just drive the car to the shop. Make sure you never go more than 40% throttle and let off if you feel you are building any boost. If you are just hitting an EcuTek boost cut, then you won't hurt the car even if you boost.

It does sound like a boost leak. You would be fine driving it back to RAD as long as you stay out of boost , which is still possible.

1. Check your couplings and intercooler piping and vacuum lines. Make sure everything is tight and secure. Since this is your first turbo car...you don't realize how often couplers and lines blow off. lol Every time something was wrong with my mr2 I was like "another boost leak, gotta check my couplers and lines again".

2. If you cant find anything and your car cruises around normally then just drive it there without getting into boost.

Don't know about the clutch issue...
fbm kit is similar to ours and its a blow maf through so it wouldnt matter if he had a leak

Honestly you need a ecutek cable IMHO none of the turbo owners out there should be without a cable. this would have helped solve your issues on day one. if your rpms drop back down then resumes when this occurs seems more like a boost cut. shoot John an email if you havent already and see if he an help you.

It would if the leak was after the MAF sensor.
