VIP program doesn't apply to STI and BRZ, i already tried. You just have to be agressive, what i did was find a bare bones limited at another dealer in my state and had a closer dealer match the price. I was lucky i got a fully loaded limited (homelink, chrome accents, rear diffuser, 3m trunk) for 27,800.

My mistake, the dealer was quite adamant that the brz didn't apply. They were probably trying to **** me around. Thanks for the clarification. Either way too late now lol.

I got mine in July at MSRP, stills seems like a reasonable deal considering I've had it for nearly a year already!

Course getting my wife's Mustang for 3k under invoice and 7k under MSRP lets my mind fudge the numbers a bit on my car.

it makes economic sense,and one would suspect they already know this.
who knows,maybe it's not that big a concern to them going forward,as long as they ARE sellin'
