Ask if the parts are in stock thats the only way I buy... If you buy parts that are coming from Japan you should have patience.

Again, things were messy for the last couple months, since all the 86 parts are new and lagging / back orders. But now I have most 86 parts IN STOCK, you name it and I have it. Fog Light bezels, Steering wheel stalk with front fog or with front and rear fog, side markers, emblems, badges, window visor and more. I reply in 24 hours In general, please allow 24 hours for me to get back to you. I am not 24/7, but will try to reply as much as I can. I will send email once shipment are sent with tracking number. I can't catch up with all the forums and orders, I hope you guys understand and forgive me for not updating as often. But if you guys have any questions feel free to email me. Email usually get the fastest respond. Website had been redesign and a new website will be launch in a few months. I mean company that works with Lexus U.S.A. have a huge issues of delay products from Japan as well E.G. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/site...n-problem.html I don't know how to explain, but this is how the car parts industry are for Japanese parts. And especially, the FRS is so new. We might not have enough stock...... ![]() I appreciate your comment and everything. I will keep up the good work and improve the things that need to be improve. Thank you. Nigel Quote:
People signed up, but didn't pay. ![]() ![]() Some people back off, some people just disappear, some people pay with echeck and take a week to clear payment. ![]() There is a lot of thing behind and as soon as 60 payment are received and confirmed, I place an order with the factory and get everything as fast as I can. I will update more often and they are shipped from the factory. The side marker will be ship on Tuesday or Wednesday after we inspect all unit. For special order parts, it always take 4-6 weeks from Japan to come by. ![]() If you read the link above, some people ordered stuff from a lot of different vendor and took them half year or even a year to get. Is hard to explain, but none of us are trying to spam and we want them as much as you guys. ![]() ![]() Thank you for understanding. |

Also if there's a problem with the actual staff that ships, we all should be notified of the delay. Anyway, that's my 2 cents. Keeping your customers up to date on what's going on in your business is number 1 in my book. Even if my center caps were out of stock, an update with an ETA and shipping time would have sufficed. I didn't know how long it would take once you said out of stock. Anyway, equipment is not the problem, I just think communication is the key -- from my experience anyway. Thanks Nigel. Keep improving!! |

Honestly, from what i am seeing here you try to bulk your orders in as few shipments as possible sacrificing shipping times to save a buck...that's fine and all when you are building up stock but not when you already have orders pending. Also your excuse that others take 4-6 weeks doesn't take away from the fact that you still quoted certain time frames, passed them (regardless of who's fault it was) and didn't post an update stating that there was a delay due to what ever reason. It also does not take away from the fact that other people were getting the same exact products (fog bezels) from a different vendor, not on the forums, a week after they ordered the parts regardless of all of Japan being on holiday for 10 days (his last excuse to me in an email back when i purchased the fog bezels). Don't even get me started with your choice on having an airbag shipped with other parts...in what universe is such an explosive item going to pass customs without delay? Items that can be dangerous to ship let alone handle should always be shipped separate and expected to be delayed in customs. A Kaizen on your internal process' are in order. I'm not worried on if my parts are going to get here or not but i am disappointed with your lack of communication and the way you handle the shipping portion of your company.

As of now, led side markers are all shipped to me. That's the latest update for now on the led side markers. Shipping company status said in custom. I am deeply sorry if you feel that way, but I really posted up when I know there will be delay. Thank you Nigel |

I honestly think you should proactively respond to email and make an effort to at least PM people in the forums. This will make your life easier if you just disclosed what is happening to these products as it happens. If it's delayed, explain why -- no one is going to lynch you if your getting delayed and it's not your fault. We, as the end user, just want to know WTF is taking so long at times. This should happen right before the product receive time frame will expire. Until this changes though, I probably won't be shopping with you for a while. Let me know when this process changes and you update us in a timely fashion and we can do business again. |

I ordered an armrest that I thought was only available in Europe. Nigel told me up front it would take two weeks before it would be shipped. It actually shipped sooner. :-) He also emailed me a tracking email and I was able to follow the delivery of the shipment. It arrived as promised and it perfect condition. I would definitely recommend Nigel!

Currently having problems with timeliness as well. Toyota emblems were "in stock" on his website. He then explained he doesn't actually update whether an item is "in stock" or "out of stock".... uh.... that kind of defeats the purpose don't ya think? He should at least notify the customer, rather than the customer contacting him 2 weeks later like WTF why is it still "Processing". I told him put "call for availability" or something useful instead, which he ignored.
Annoying thing is I ordered these emblems on July 8th and they are still "processing". If I went with Carson Toyota I would have had the item weeks ago. Just going to opticoat without emblems now EDIT: They arrived today at his shop, now he tells me it will ship to me on Monday!? Are you kidding me? This guy is a joke. Other buyers beware. Look elsewhere if you value your time |

Second time i ordered from nigel, primarily because he was the only one offering the armrest. Much better experience.
Just make sure to communicate with him about whats in stock and what will be coming in that is not already sold. Luckily on the communication front, he consistent in responding. If he has the items you ordered, and your "next in line" (if theres a wait) you usually get it pretty quickly. Other times don't expect to order from him and receive things right away. I can say that ordering from him at least guarantees you'll get the item you ordered eventually. (much more useful when theres a rare part that he has that others don't) this time i ordered the armrest, told me it wasn't due until the end of august. Placed my order expecting to wait, end of august came and my armrest was shipped. (about 1.5 weeks after ordering) armrest came in.

Nigel is a good vendor who can really get you hard to get stuff. The more rare the stuff the longer it usually takes in my book. I ordered some stuff from him knowing what to expect. I dont get why everyone is always in a damn rush. What if he doesnt know an eta? So what if he tries shipping stuff in bulk to save money, that helps him sell product to us at a lower cost. Almost every group by on this forum seems to have issues in some way shape or form, so that should never be a surprise. If he is one guy like I suspect I doubt he really could keep up with everything communication wise in a super timely manner.
This thread is good so people should know what to expect. Do be stuck on a time frame but you will get your part, and he can get you pretty much anything. And that makes him a very valuable vendor. |

Same problem here. I ordered SARD carbon intake pipe and it was "in stock" on his website,I paid the full price, but actually he doesn't have it in stock so he ask me to wait 4~6 weeks shipping from Japan because it's order made, I did. I waited for 3 month and still no information about the intake, I emailed Nigel and he said SARD just sent their stock so will be here in 2 weeks. It's been another month since last time I sent e-mail to him and totally no contact from him about the intake. If you have difficulty to get those parts, let me know earlier so that I don't have to waste time on you. I usually don't write bad comments about the seller even some time they have delayed shipping, but Nigel is too far away.

Like I said, I don't have difficulty to get the parts. SARD Japan have a difficulty to produce to parts. SARD said it is Order Make Only and like Gruupe M Carbon Intake, they just take very long time to make a carbon intake and deliver. Both of these company from Japan are taking a very long time to make the carbon intake for some reason. If you ordered from anyone from anywhere, even at the same day and same time. I will still have it faster than any vendor. I deal with SARD Japan directly and I have a very good relationship with them. I can assure you 100%, I am asking them every week for status update. Call / Email. I don't wanna delay and I really want to send the product out as well, because product delay will give my company bad reputation. Sometimes I am in the middle and ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Again, I am very sorry about the delay, the wait time was a ETA from SARD Japan. If you don't wanna get the intake now, it is ok. I can refund and cancel your order. Once they come in, you can have it first, if you don't want it. I will stock it and sell it to the next customer. Thank you Nigel |
