CSG Mike its Marlon from Vegas. I talked to the Assistant Service Manager friend who was in contact with the FST from Toyota and was told that the issues with DI seals failing on track cars is due to over rev. The FST was willing to push the repair through warranty but for some reason it was shot down by the Service manager and Shop foreman both whom I don't know personally. I know I've seen a miss shift here and there so I knew not to argue with them. At the end of the day I had Robert order the SST which I will have to install myself when the need arises down the road. The SST apparently will take 3 weeks to receive and I was without my FRS so I decided to pony up and pay. I'll be comparing VW/Audi DI injector flow rate, OD diameter, and length to see if it is a possible retrofit for the FA20 engines. For now I'll be helping Garrett with his replacement as well once the SST arrives.

Get a few extra sets of seals; theyre really, REALLY easy to damage.

That's strange, the service dept just lost a few hours of warranty work when FST approved it.

The ECU does have a "black box" of sorts, so they can tell you your peak RPM. The basic diagnostic it spits out is like 10 pages....

Yeah being that the FST worked on my car the last time it was in for the same warranty work(different service center; my contact there left a long with a few others) I was kind of meh about it. It's fixed and that's all that matters to me. When I get back to the US I'll be glad to help anyone out with their DI replacements in the area.
