Which got totalled when someone ran into him:

So my dad @COOL BRZ replaced it with this not long after I got mine:

Its funny that you mentioned that, as soon as I got my FR-S my dad started asking a lot of questions about the twins. He'll be looking for a car in the spring, would be funny if he got one of the twins as well.

My father is going to be 85 in March and he is a lousy driver. Had to retake the written driver test last year and will be required to do so every 2 years. Has an older Maxima (at least 10 yrs old) and there's no point in getting a new one. He has never really been onto cars.

On the other hand he always buys my mother something decent; her last 3 cars were Celica GTS, Rav4 Ltd, and currently Solara convertible.

No offense, but if you really want to surprise your mom get an education and then you wouldn't need 3 jobs to buy a car. What is the point of having a car you can barely afford and spend you free time working? There is also the added bonus of proper grammar and spelling.

2012 Mustang GT500. He had a brand new Boss 302 before it and I liked that one better, but he traded "up" to the GT500 because he's getting old and wanted cushy seats and satnav.

edit: Nearly forgot this one somehow:

Built it himself. Currently working on bike number 2, which will be bigger, blacker, and considerably faster. I don't recall the technical details but the frame had to be notched to make room for the motor. More WHP than my FR-S, strapped to a bike that weighs practically nothing.

I don't understand how he rides the things. Both hardtails with no padding in the seat, no turn signals, no speedometer, no gas gauge, and both significantly faster than what could be considered sane or reasonable. He swears this setup is perfectly comfortable ("A tank of gas only gets you about 100 miles, so I have to stop a lot anyway.").

My dad just got a 2012 Harley Davidson Edition F150 (nicest truck I've ever been in).

My stepdad drives a customized 2001 f250 with the 7.3L diesel. Before that he had a Saleen Cobra convertible but traded it in on the truck because he was convinced he would kill himself...that's it for daily drivers.

or I could have something nice in my life-which I never had before.
Paying for this car near full-Taking out a small loan to help establish credit.
Its also a goal to get that education-Trust me college is on my to do list(if I could go for free I would have done so by now)
Im just being cautious about it because 1. I'm paying for it and 2. My friends who graduated(debt free cause their parents helped them) cant find jobs, and the ones that did are doing something crappy and unrelated to their education.

I don't even know what I want to do, and don't feel like diving into debt.
Rather save/get aid when I'm 24
Everyone chooses to live their life differently, this is what I wanna do.
Also my spelling and grammar sucks in general-its going to be even shittier on a car forum lol

good job on putting college on your to-do list and I agree, not everyone is fortunate to go.. but I hope that you'll get there and finish it sooner than later... finding what you want to do is also tough.. not everyone has their path figured out easily as others.. you can try to apply for financial aid.. should try to find something that you might want to do or something that you don't hate, finish it and start making money, at least for now, that way you don't have to struggle with 3 jobs. i don't know about other people, but i hate putting school aside and try to come back be cause it's help trying to go back after awhile. As they say, don't push it to tomorrow what can be done today. or something in that line haha I have a horrible memory. Sounds like you are a good son/daughter for trying to buy your mom a car.

also, don't worry about the grammar/spelling police... there's at least one on every forum :happy0180:

Thank you @Khánh that means a lot to me.
And yes! Its important not to put it off for a long time, Someone I know told me I wont go when I'm older-And I cant wait to prove him wrong!
Unfortunately I cant get aid-because even tho my parents live paycheck to paycheck they make enough to be considered middle class. Its not until you are 24 that they look at just your income. But that works for me cause I still need some time to save, and plan.
The silver lining in this is that I learned from their mistakes in life(credit is good) and so is college education-2 jobs is something you can only pull off when you're young.

blah okay-sorry for jacking this thread
