technically yes, but you'll probably do no harm if you don't...as long as the turn signals and hazards are off at the time you'll be ok. Just don't say what i told you broke your car as i am not liable haha

LED front - OEM back > Relay?

If the relay slows down the Switchback LED fronts... and the relay controls "the group", does this mean the OEM rear blinkers end up being affected, i.e., they slow down too?

Possibly. I haven't tested rears and no plans to since they don't provide much benefit. If the relay controls front and back you should be good to go with just 1.

So if the switchbacks are installed - the replacement Relay is installed to slow down the flashing... and one has OEM turn signal bulbs at the rear... How does the Relay affect the flashing rate of rear turn signals?

Sorry to be posting the question a second time, but the first response doesn't seem to make any sense... not sure the question was understood b/c rear turn signals do have a benefit.

I was talking about installing led bulbs back there. I thought you were asking about installing leds in the rear turn signals.

The relay won't affect the oem bulbs in the rear.

Our switchbacks should be ready next week. I can't discuss pricing here, but we'll run a special for the intro
