I was ready to finance a BRZ Limited 6MT at MSRP last march, before I worked for Subaru. Would've been as follows:

MSRP: $28,265 with destination, Limited 6MT no extra options
Tax (6.25%): $1,766.56
Documentation: $299
Title/registration (new plates): $150

Total: $30,480

Now that I'm selling for Subie I'm hoping I can get it for invoice or less, *fingers crossed* I plan on putting down between $5-10k and financing the remainder.
My Limited 6MT cost a few hundred less than that after taxes, title/registration, and a heinous dealer processing fee. Had a few options as well; payed less than sticker, but more than invoice. I think sticker was ~$28,7xx and we have a 6% tax here.

Though really all my savings are negated by the shipping cost from MA to MD.

I went to the dealer yesterday to check one out and they said they're putting a 5K markup on it. The salesman was rude and treated me like shit. What a ripoff

Don't blame the car, blame the dealer! Be persistent and you'll find one, trust me.

it's probably NOT feasible for you to come here, but to be truthful
there are plenty to be found here in new england, with fresh allocated cars on the way for 'stock" and NOT ordered cars! some dealers have 'em lined up like ten pins! no bull s**t. brz's are becoming negotiable,in that dealers don't want
to keep cleaning them off after snow storms.if ya play the 'fuc*ed up game they put ya through,ya can do all right on the (o.t.d) price. scions are a little tougher to find,(in stick, plenty of "slush" boxes though) but (w.t.f), just about the same car.car is out there, just try to be a little patient is all!..google new england dealers..just sayin'

Even reputable dealers can have a salesperson who's being cranky that day, or a manager that is difficult to deal with. I'm about to sell a car to a couple that were treated poorly by a salesman at another reputable dealer up here, so you just gotta keep trying.

believe it or not,a lot of deals go away because the greedy
dealers NOT relenting on these "outrageous" "half ass" ''doc" fees!
basically a couple of key strokes on a computer, and voila! your out
like $350.00 or so! ya get a good deal on paper, then they throw that
doc fee in your face, and ya feel like walkin' out! (hot damn!)

$200 below MSRP because the dealer financier couldn't match my bank's lower APR and my bank was closed so dealer brought my final price down to compensate for their slightly higher APR for a quick sale. Few weeks later I refinanced with my bank so I ended up with the lower APR (1.79%) as well lol

I paid $28232 + tax on 10/27 in the Denver area for my GBS DZE + Pop 1B + Chrome Fuel Door Cover.

$28136 (MSRP) +$770 (destination) + $126 (fees) - $800

I'm in Phoenix and did a fly-and-drive. I don't want to spam the board with unsolicited advertising for the dealership, but I cannot say enough about how easy the whole thing was. PM me if anybody wants specifics.
