I traded in my E46 M3 Vert identical to the one pictured here for my FR-S. I had 4 great years with the M3 and really wasn't planning on selling it any time soon. After I test drove the FR-S I couldn't spend my money fast enough.

2003 Civic Type-R (EP3). Will be trading it in once my GT86 arrives (hopefully) this or next week.

Before that, I had a bunch of RWD Toyotas: 1991 MR2 Turbo, 1986 AE86 (still have it, race car project), 1979 Starlet KP61, 1983 Corolla KE70. Also, a 1988 CRX (DOHC).

The FR-S replaced a 2005 Scion xB.

I still have a Miata, and sometimes I feel like it may be redundant. My Miata could use a little attention to bring it back to 100%. Hopefully I'll do that stuff over the winter and I'll feel better about it in the spring.

I turned in my leased 2010 Mazda 3 the day after I bought my FR-S. The Mazda was a great, reliable, efficient, sensible, boring car. I hated every minute of driving it. I had almost forgotten that driving could be fun...

2002 Acura RSX Type S. Been a great car, but decided to upgrade to the FR-S. Still got it, currently looking for a buyer.

My last three cars were Sentra SERs, but the first, a '91, was the best. Current ride is an '02 Vivid blue, everything works and it runs like new, but it has serious clearcoat failure.

The trade in offers these days are ridiculous. My Sentra has 96,000 miles, all new brakes, all new (stock) exhaust, new headlights and new Eagle GTs, and they offered me $2500, less than the cost of the new stuff! Going to give it a cheap paintjob and give it to my grandson instead.

Had a 2009 TSX, mint as it can be when I traded her in...

Now I have my FR-S and a 98 RAV 4 for winter duties. The RAV's slow as hell but I love the damn thing almost more than the FR-S!

2003 Infiniti M45 done up VIP style. Traded it in because I got uber bored driving a big auto sedan.

Here is why I chose the FR-S.
