Probably because they are only sending 6,000 BR-Z's to the US.

LOLZ! When I went to visit my local Toyota/Scion Dealership, which they actually didn't have one in stock but showed that they did online, the sales rep said that he saw one with modified with twin turbo and AWD. I just said, "wow." Then went on my merry way.
