More FR-s than BRZ?
 

Looks to me like there are more FR-S's than the BRZ. Whys is that.. Cheaper? Personal preference? I know they are just about the same car but i would take the BRZ over the sighION any day.

My guess is that the prices of most BRZs are marked up.

They are making a lot more, something like 7 FR-S' to 1 BRZ. Don't quote me on that number.

Toyota gets the lion's share of the manufacturing for putting up the development money.

The rumor I read was that they are building FR-S' in about a 2-1 ratio to BRZ's. Meaning 2 FR-S for every BRZ.

In Canada, BRZ is $3000 more than the FRS. $3000 is what I am planning to spend on mods on my car.

Yea its the same here...about 3k difference but thats for the limited version. Taking a look at 1 today.

More FR-S are being built, so more are being sold.

I saved 4,500.00 not getting a BRZ, I wanted one but the Subaru dealer here had issues with my 06 WRX having black wheels. So that is money I will drop into either the car in mods or toward paying off the car, their loss is my gain.

The wait time for getting a FR-S is shorter so people opt for that..i know I just got very lucky with my BRZ since someone dropped their pre-order. I think they both have their pros/cons in terms of aesthetics but at the end you have to remember the engineering on both is the same....also my first "SighION" TC was a very reliable car and loved every minute i owned it!

More are made, its more visible to the public (how many commercials for FR-S there are compared to the BRZ?), cheaper.

It's funny, at the FR-S first drive event I was talking to some dude that raced Porsches and he had no clue what I was talking about when I told him I went for the BRZ instead of the FR-S. I had to explain that was Subaru's version of the car.
