I need to get some audio of my custom catback using Burns Stainless 2-stage quiet muffler and 16 gauge 2.5" Burns Stainles 304 tubing... it's LOUD... but very robust, deeper, and smoother sounding. Much better than the Burn Stainless race muffler previously tried. Will try to get audio of it this weekend.

Most of the straight-through, perforated designs with fiberglass packing won't have as bad of a rattle issue as a stock design.

Here's a clip for reference. There are no cats on this setup, and even with the Fujitsubo front pipe you still have a weird rattle at higher RPMs (and it's more pronounced under load).

The same exhaust had no issues with either a stock cat or the Apexi header w/ cat.

note the 103db. this is why i stuffed a silencer in mine.

ok im at 95.1 db cold start with a silencer in. im guessing going to a 2.5" front pipe made it a lot throatier, but the drone is absurd. im going to get flagged for noise this season. i should get a jdl ultra quiet
