First (and so far only) speeding ticket was when I was driving my college buddies miata on some back roads. I was going about 80 but on the straight aways. I was also playing chicken with other cars. Yeah... I was a bad person. :/

Roannoake area is pretty uptight about their speed limits. One of the car mags had a feature article about a speeding ticket that lead to a several day stretch in the county pokey for one of their correspondents.

There's probably only so much staring at the landscape in the Panhandle one can take before things start to get weird.

I've surprisingly never had a speeding ticket in this car and I've had it for over one year.

I did almost get an exhaust ticket though, even though it's not that loud.

Caught entering the freeway at 80 mph in a 55 mph construction zone. I noticed the cop caught me and was attempting to get behind me to pull me over, but he was a about 4 cars behind me, so I decided to try to outrun him.

Ended up bobbing and weaving through fairly dense traffic at around 110 mph and the cop caught up to me when there was a break in traffic.

So... 110 mph in a 55 mph construction zone. Got off with only 10 over. Never been that stupid since.
