Well, it gets great mileage. My friend that has a stick yaris claims it can get 45 mpg highway (despite the lower epa ratings); I wouldn't mind one myself.

whats the weight got to do with having a rear disk brakes? a AE86 is 2200lbs stock still have a rear disk brakes & thats back in 1985. a mazda miata back in 1989 weight 2100lbs have a disk brakes also so no reason why a 2009 top spec car have drums.

because drums are generally cheaper, usually last longer, and work perfectly fine for that application. sure disc brakes are sexier, but for certain vehicles, i have no problem with drums. it's also usually way easier to incorporate parking brakes on drums than discs.

No, just the 4cyl...like I said, nothing exciting about this car in the least. Its an A-->B car.

The most exciting thing about this fusion is driving a semi-long distance and watching the Fuel gauge barely move!

I have a 2004 BMW E46 Individual and a 2010 AurisX. Will be selling the BMW and using the FT86 as a daily drive. Hope they launch the Ft-86 here in South Africa
