Yes. They are two distinct problems. If they say there's only one ask them to explain how it causes one sound where you're in gear with the clutch disengaged at a standstill, and a second slower one that matches the RPM of the drive shaft.

Had to leave it at Toyota. The lead tech (supposively) sat in my car with me while I test drove it and basically said something isn't right. They took it back there and 45 minutes later came back and said I need to leave it so I have a rental for however long it takes them to fix it.

Will keep you all posted.

Small update: Got the car back and everything is back to normal.

They didn't admit they messed up or the exact cause, but the notes say:

"ADJUSTED AND RETOURQUED SHIFTER LINKAGE, BUSHINGS, AND MOUNTING."

People are human. I left one of my endlinks only finger tight the other night. Almost an expensive mistake - and not my first time either.
