Your heating system is part of the overall coolant system as well and if you run low enough on coolant it will blow cold instead of hot. If your radiator is full and the engine temp is now fine but the heater doesn't work then you need to bleed the line for the heater core. The bleed valve is up near the firewall.
So Subi version of fluids (Still blue) is cheaper from the dealer?

And a radiator. I went back to bring the guy a snack as a little thank you. Turned out he got suspended for what he did with me using that goodwill warranty line.

Toyota is apparently super black and white on their warranty and the dealer should not have covered my radiator since I'm at 42K.

But they have to fix my car again. The tech didn't put my shroud back properly. Fn thing caught wind and snapped off while I was doing 70 on the turnpike today and gave me a heartattack.

Huh, today I learned that the radiator is not part of the 'powertrain'
