Get an OFT and just stage 1 tune. It's around 400 US?

Otherwise just get cosmetic upgrades.

In all seriousness though to answer your question truthfully.

Your car can...

make you smile like the Joker every time you drive it.

make people think your it is really fast and expensive.

take corners really fast and do power slides.

attract ladies but it will be mostly guys (in Mustangs and Civics).

fit a human body into the trunk if you lower the rear seats down and golf clubs.

Got her tuned yesterday for the first time! Here's the Dyno Sheet for anyone interested

Future plans include an UEL Borla Header, and a tune to go with it

Your name sounds super familiar.... as far as headers I would try to avoid borla. They are usually hit or miss. Welds aren't the best and cracking at the collector is common (I don't know if they fixed this with the newer version, but it's worth checking out). There's a bunch of other quality uel headers out there, just spend some time and look at reviews (I like Tomei UEL's).

Edit: Ah, you played cs and were the guy who caused that drama involving sodapoppin. Don't know enough about the situation so I wont comment on that. I knew I remembered your name tho haha.

OK here it goes.
What exactly did you have tuned? The graphs look like changes that are usually within the margin of error of the equipment between pulls.

Why not hold off on getting a tune and dyno until you got the header and appropriate tune? I get that it gives a base line but you mentioned a few times you were on a budget. Would seem to me that waiting would have saved some money for the changes that would actually make a difference.

looks more like you just got a dyno run done on a stock car

I got the car tuned because I first needed to see if it could be mapped. After I was already there and I was told the car was mappable and could be tuned, I just kind of got really antsy and wanted it tuned. It actually yielded some nice gains, and you can definitely tell while driving the car. He also told me that the next tune will be a significant amount of money less because most of the work is done when the car is mapped. So yeah, you're right, I could have saved a few bucks, but honestly, it's not much of a difference.

Thanks! I was wondering.

It's actually pretty glorious. More power throughout the band, the car just feels stronger and smoother. Honestly, feels like a bigger engine.

The car now feels as it should have from the factory. There is no more waiting for acceleration and merging onto the highway is now confidence inspiring. The drawback is the fuel economy, but I am still doing the math on mileage/fuel cost and I believe it will be about the same cost as running 93 octane. The only real drawback so far is I'm now on a first name basis with the employees at the 2 E85 stations in town
Yeah, I did the analysis. On E85 it costs me 7.23 cents/mile and on 93 it costs 8.3 cents per mile. So, the E85 is cheaper!

That said, if my mpg goes down (calculated at 21 on E85), the price of E85 goes up (calculated at 1.59) or 93 goes down (calculated at 2.39), then that all could change. For me it would have to be quite the dramatic swing for me to consider no longer running it.

By far the best power mod for our cars in HP/$ = OFT+OFH+E85. I'm not sure what else can fix your torque dip and add 30-40whp for roughly $1000.
