I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Love Love Love the yellow. A little damage to the side is no biggie. Sounds like cosmetic damage.

Also, 10K miles?! 21K!?

WTF!? I WANT THIS NOW! I paid that much for my Series 10 with 26K on the odo.

Buy it!

Nearly a $10k discount off of what most of these sold for at $10k miles? And it's exactly what you want? If it looks good and you can't find the accident damage, maybe take it to an independant shop for an inspection, haggle them down to $20k if you can given it's history and you've struck gold imo. Uniqueness is NOT an advantage for a dealer, they will have to look hard to find a buyer, call them on their bullshit that 'oh it's a hot color so lots of people want it, better buy it now'

Spend a long time looking at it, in the sun, maybe bring a flashlight. Nothing will suck more than finding the telltale signs of a respray in 3 months if you're that kind of anal retentive car owner. Look under the hood at all the sheet metal, try and stick your head so you can see behind the body panels to tell if they're still dented and panel was lazily filled with bondo. Maybe even get it on the alignment rack to check that it's still a straight driving car.

Seems to be in great condition, although it has been in a wreck, right side swipe, damage primarily on the front right side. Please let me know what I should look out for! Really hope this works out and can't wait to join the community! Driving down from Orlando to see the car on 6/18/16.

Find another RS 1.0 this one isn't worth buying for that price.

Never buy a special edition car with a negative carfax.

So which is it? Wait years for a local sale, which will in all probability not be as good a deal as this one? Or drive five to fifteen hours to find one in a neighboring state? The GA line is 3 hours away from him, and you don't get out of the cotton fields to a city of any size that might have one for a few hours more.

By the time he does either of those things, he might as well have just gone on down to Miami to buy this one. Four hours is not a "long drive" in Florida.

This doesn't sound bad at all. If it were me, and I were specifically looking for an RS, and the car felt right during the test drive, I'd buy it.

It was damaged. It was fixed. I also think it may be a tad overpriced for a repaired car but the dude is willing to pay it so it doesn't matter what I think.
Folks have been wrecking and repairing cars for as long as there has been cars! Not such a big deal.

I wouldn't buy a car in Miami personally. Sales tax is %7 there. Work that into the price also. The price is to good, there is something wrong with the car. Have an independent mechanic put it on a lift and check it. 2013's with 20k on em sell for 19-20k down here.

Exactly.
Now that we know the extent of the damage it is even more ridicules to freak out that somebody is buying a repaired car.
If this was a salvage titled vehicle then I could see the fuss. But it had a fender repaired for crying out loud.
The same people screaming don't buy it would be complaining about not being able to sell theirs if it had damage.

I've only had it for 9 months or so. So that is a no-go. Maybe down the line when the new yellow BRZs come down in price I'll go that route.

Someone said the cars are hard to find in florida, thats why I said go to a neighboring state. Willing to bet if you even glance around locally there are clean ones locally.

I have driven through florida. Four hours is a fuck ton of time through that state.

You should see what happens if you ask what stickers to put on your car. Oh and under no circumstances ask about big wings or light weight pulleys!
