Since this is the first car I bought myself, and the first new car I've owned, the idealist in me says I'll keep it forever. Literally. I know a lot of people who wish they'd kept their old first car. Not to mention that in 30 years it'll be like in iRobot when Will Smith whips out the motorcycle that "runs on gasoline that explodes."

Keeping it forever since this car with its original intentions will probably never happen again.

After the BRZ, Subaru should start and figure out how to make a modern flagship sports car, the Alcyone has been discontinued for like two decades.

I've had mine for three years and a couple of days. Already put 80k miles on it - mostly highway miles. Had a 3k dollar setback in February due a to a broken valve spring. I loved this car but given my ability to pile on miles, I'm about to trade her in for a WRX and start fresh. Should have a deal done today or tomorrow hopefully. Almost feel a little emotional about it. But it will definitely give my 9 year old some extra leg room.
