He's talking about the little turny thing on the stalk (not moving the stalk itself up and down) that you can click to set different speeds for more granularity on most cars, but basically doesn't do anything on our cars.

I think he realized that, and I agree with him, sucks it doesnt do anything on your car but it works and provides me with numerous different wiper speeds.

You can buy it online. I buy it by the dozen and split the cost of shipping with other people who want it as well. Unlike Rain-X, you don't need constant re-application which makes this a god-send for me. I used to use Rain-X and for optimal performance, there was a lot of upkeep (wipers, fluid and re-apps).

Aquapel? Once a year.

To each their own I guess.

Im talking about the twist knob on the stalk which is the intermitent time... not the up or down

So you actually notice a "world of difference" with the twist thing? I honestly can't tell that it does anything at all. I far prefer the way my previous cars have worked in that regard, but it's a very small issue...albeit a little annoying. First world problems.

in what setting are you using it? that knob is only for the INT setting, nothing else, in fact, I've never driven a car where that knob changes anything other than the intermittent speed...

So for example, you move the stalk into the lowest wiper blade setting. Turning that twisty thing should make the wipers go from their absolute lowest speed to the absolute highest speed in the low setting, so from very slow to just below the medium stalk setting's slowest speed. This is how it's worked in every car I've ever driven in the rain. On the twins, the twisty knob doesn't have any perceptible impact on wiper speed. So the highest setting in low and the lowest setting in medium is a huge jump, and it shouldn't be.

Never had a car that does that, and I've driven plenty of cars, all of them only had that knob work on the intermittent timing...

If there's no perceptible difference, then what's the point of the twisty part?

like I've said many time... how much time it takes between swipes in the intermittent setting... long setting (twist all the way up) is like 1 swipe every 15 seconds, and short setting (Twist all the way down) is like 1 swipe every 5 seconds... that's it, that's how it's been on every car I've driven...

It doesn't do that in my car. That was the point of my original post. Twisting all the way up or down does not make any perceptible difference.
