It's about the middle of May and I haven't heard anything about them.
I ordered 1.5 and received a paypal request for payment. I assume that means the current batch of 1.5s is shipping tomorrow.

If you ordered one of the mid May batch then check your email. I did the mistake of just checking my pm on this forum and was waiting all day yesterday after Rob said he was going to send the payment request out. It wasnt until 10pm that i checked my email and the request for payment was sent 6hrs prior.

Or just log in your paypal account. Once I knew he was going to be sending the payment request, I kept mine open and kept refreshing.

When you do, would you be so kind as to post pics? I certainly would like to go this route. Thanks!

Not a problem. Do you have a BRZ or a frs? Because if you have a frs go with nlowell's plan.

BRZ.

Today was my first use of the ESC without even thinking about it. Needed to quickly move out from behind a truck and ... Zoom. It's a beautiful thing, I tell ya. .

Pretty sure Rob was working on those in parallel with the kits so they should be ready in a similar time frame. You should hear something very soon.

Just got the good news that my OFH is on its way to Canada as well as my nameless exhaust. Can't wait to unleash the beast because right now it is pretty much a sleeper.

Everyone expects FRSs to be slow but this one certainly isn't. With all that torque available down low without lag you never get caught off guard either

I'm planning to take the esc powered frs to the next level with a 4.88 FD swap.. with esc+ofh+full exhaust+differential swap + e85 tune when its ready and i should be looking at a rev happy, neck snapping 13s et frs that'll make Jimmy John proud, car so fast you'll freak

Sounds awesome! That's exactly what I want to do. Add the aluminum drive shaft, lightweight pulleys and lightweight 17 inch wheels and 225 rubber and that is going to be very fast!

I'm not really a drag guy, but curious if you think you can hit 13 flat. I know a lot of it comes down to the launch, and driver skill. But I think fenton? was estimating ~13.8. Add rubber, diff, e85, and full exhaust, I wonder what that would get you to.. keep us posted. It may be vain, but I would like to stay even with a 2014 mustang gt *convertible(13.2 - 1/4) if i need too

Rubber really helps on this car. A good launch is hard because the suspension doesn't load up the way live axle does increasing grip.

Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread

Good news on cooling - just landed this morning in San Diego and it is 102 degrees outside. I drove home (25 miles) hitting the ESC multiple times in a row and never tripped the heat mode. I would say the cooling mod is definitely helping with the heat.

@Robftss ... Great job ... btw. I have a couple of thoughts that I would like for you to comment on. Have you looked into adding a capacitor (or 2caps) in parallel to the dump packs. High power density (not energy) caps are pretty cheap now .. 30 Farad cap for $75. Link

If you wire two of these parallel to each 18Ah dump battery ... they will be very quick in providing all the current the motor needs at peak (even TQ-300). I understand these big caps represent only about 16% of the energy stored in the 36Ah dump batteries (20.5 KJ vs 125 KJ ) but these will charge up faster , keep up with peak demand much better, not to mention will protect the batteries at the time of peak current draw . I think these will complement the Pb-Acid batteries perfectly in the power demand situation we have here.

Looking forward to your thoughts, Thanks.
