You telling me!
I had just read @Leonardo 's post, when I looked over and saw my toddler granddaughter cutting out things with her plastic scissors. Yes, it was her day off too - humfrz |

I mounted the on-demand water heater on the outside of the building. That gets rid of the need for a bigger flu and all that garbage. We did, however, have to run a propane line across the entire property.

Water heater update.
OK, here's how it went down. No hot water this morning - mrs humfrz was pissed because she missed washing her face in warm water - now THAT set the stage (unhappy wife). So, I unbury the entrance to the hot water heater closet and take a look. Water running out of the bottom of the unit. Turn off the water and stick a bucket under it. I get on the phone to Sears just as the three granddaughters are being dropped off for me to take the two older ones to school. I disconnected the call. Got back on the phone after the school run (today was a half day - more on that later). I get hooked up with this soft spoken girl from India or Pakistan that doesn't speak hillbilly worth a damn. She is trying to sell me a home warranty - I can't hardly hear her and I'm getting steamed. So, I cave in and OK the home warranty - just fix my fucking hot water heater! Service rep was scheduled to arrive from between 12 and 5 (today - FRIDAY). The rep arrived at 12:15 to assess the situation. I (somebody) had to leave at NLT 12:30 to pick up the girls from school. I sent mrs humfrz to pick up the two older girls. THAT pissed her off since she didn't have any hot water to wash up. So, she bolted out the door, leaving the screaming toddler with me. The rep said I needed a new hot water heater (daaaaa) and said he would have to order it. To be continued - humfrz |

My wife would complain about feeling sick sometimes, so one time I stole the barf bag from a business flight i had coming back from Seattle and put it in the bottle holder in the passenger door. We were going for a drive and she got in, saw the bag, looks at me and says, "You think you are so funny, don't you!"
