Don't laugh but my dog knocked over my external HD which I use for website updates. Currently getting the data extracted and put on another HD which should be ready tomorrow. I'll be back from vacation tomorrow as well so expect to see OTS maps for some international roms up then. Sorry for the delay...

Cloud Storage. I like dropbox for stuff I am working on as well as Google Drive. The nice thing about Drive is that I can access it with almost no restriction. It is great for small files that actually mean something (like your hw, car's tune, that major expense report ect.).

I've been using my OFT for about a month and and have been learning more about this ECU tuning and using the TunerProRT.

My big question is when will FRS/BRZ OFT data logging be activated - I want to be able to see what these tunes are doing with regards to IAT and LTFT and STFT and such.

Does anyone know if the OFT can show realtime data without data logging?

Genuine question: how come the OFT available for the BMW is $100 cheaper than the one for our the FRS? They both look identical to me?

'cause bimmer owners have to save every penny for other parts and maintenance.

Seriously tho, it has already been covered (can't recall tho), but the difference is not only in how the tablet looks. The good thing you need to know is that if you want bimmer support - it's a free upgrade (if a bimmer owner on the other hand wants brz/frs support - it's a 100 extra).

Somewhere it was stated that when OFT came out for the BMW a lot of the ECU/ECM architecture was provided to them by someone in the BMW community. The twins on the other hand was developed from scratch. Since it took more time to develop the OFT for us, it cost them more so it cost us more.

Vish - just an FYI - there is an error in the scaling of the transient ignition retard table for A01C in tuner pro. Very oddly, having disassembled both A00c and A01c, the only change is that the offset is -50 as opposed to -30. This unfortunately throws out any copy and paste between the two models by 20*.

Developed from scratch eh. I can think of a few people that would strongly disagree with that statement.

Bringing this to light is why I came over here, as I am actually running that map. Because its the transient table, its only used during a shift no? It may have been intentional but just wanted to make sure...

To be fair to the OFT guys, I don't think they have made any claims about developing from scratch.

It's a new platform, and they are charging what they are charging.

To compare it to the BMW solution, which has been around longer, may use different/cheaper parts, etc. is not really of much benefit.

Yeah... let's not start this debate up shall we - because I'll be the first one to point to some history related to Ecuedit.

Correct, yes - during transition - and I doubt that it was intentional, since the scaling is not correct for A01c.
