Its useful to check your specific states laws, as having one readiness monitor "incomplete" is allowed on 2001 and newer vehicles and you can still pass emissions

I would check readiness monitors in my car with the secondary O2 DTC disabled to see if they are "Ready" or just "Incomplete" but my recent appendectomy is telling me to wait a bit before trying to climb into my car

The evap is generally going to be one hit on the readiness incomplete after I year or so, you don't want to have a cat incomplete if at all possible. best solution is to move the secondary O2 sensor to the behind the front pipe cat. It amazes me that none of the aftermarket front pipes have bungs welded in for this.

It does appear to be the easiest way, they could easily include a blanking plug for those who don't relocate

And yeah, evap is usually the last to report readiness

Can or will this eventually be able to force readiness/ remove code on the evap? (for off road use of course)

Cobbs Accesstuner race among other tuning platforms can do it.

I don't suppose the ECU records the time of the most recent flash? If so, wouldn't OpenFlash show a discrepancy with your service records at the dealership?

We do, actually. But it wasn't specifically for this reason, it's a general use bung for plugging in a wideband or for tuning. One of the problems with tuning the FR-S/BRZ is the dual tip exhaust system isn't the best for accurate A/F readings when you just put the sniffer in one of the tips.

I too am interested to hear about the DTC setup and what will be available in the ability to modify it. I posted about it in my comparison thread. I may finally have some time to clean that up.

Either way though, I checked the last 3 pages but didn't see anything on it. Whats the word on when Data logging will be ready?

Thanks!

Would you guys possibly have any interest in releasing an ecutek-unencumbered basemap for your turbo kits?

We may in the future. But it would take a lot of time and testing - we spent upwards of 3 months on the dyno and road with our current base maps, and to do new ones on a new tuning solution may likely take as much time.

I just ordered my OpenFlash Tablet last night! I am so excited to finally dig into that ecu! This product is the best thing to come out for the platform since the platform itself!

The OpenFlash platform has essentially the same maps available to the tuner as ecutek and brzedit. So it supplying an OpenFlash tune won't take any more work than just copy and pasting the data from your modified tables.
