Stg1 pumpgas tune

Received my first ROM file from John, loaded fine.
Waiting for John to check my datalog and ROM file as I think i have a problem, as I cant select maps and I can get 8000rpm in all gears.
Decided to do a quick dyno to see what results the tune made and was pleasantly surprised. 11wkw gain over OEM.
I have the Works DIF and the BRZ performance exhaust made in SA, which is decatted front pipe and resonated back. I'm also using 98 RON.

for interest I have dyno run each time I have added
Stock 115wkw
Works DIF I gained 3wkw against OEM = 118wkw
Works DIF and BRZ exhaust gained 4wkw against OEM = 119wkw
Works DIF, BRZ exhaust and stg1 tune 11wkw = 126wkw

I have just received the Borla header, which I will fit once I have the Tune working correctly and dyno again.

The 93 dyno run was only the tune, stock everything else.

What's the newest version of EcuTek software? I can't seem to get above 1.0.0.12275 no matter how many times I try to update it.

Having an issue with starting my car from cold. Temp 5" (41F). Cat will not swing. Have to try 3-4 times before I hear a slight pop and then it will work. Trying not to burn starter motor. But that is yhe only way. Remember US guts J ad similar issues when you had your winter.

What did you do to fix issue. I am running e85. Is this the issue and should i use e70. When car is warm there is no issue starting it.

ps. I have submitted but car is kinda dead in the water at the moment.

Yeah John.. just keep on teasing...

Do you think you'd be in Annapolis late June/early July? I'd want to see what you can do with live tuning my NA car. It'll have a relatively unique setup that I think will run well with e85.

- FA20CLUB CAI
- JDL UEL Header
- 2.75" Overpipe-back exhaust

It should sound pretty badass on the dyno!

But you are still able to connect and query your ECU?

Did you submit a ticket on his website to let him know you have the kit?
