Sounds good but would sound much better with a resonated midpipe.

@JDLAutoDesign , any updates to give on the production for the UEL header intro group buy?

From the chat I had with JDL, I wouldn't expect much before end of the month.

Almost 20 people got in on this GB so they should start production soon because they have a lot of VERY eager customers to make happy or else...

Forget the twin scrolls and EL, we just our rumbles!

This is with a Perrin over pipe, stock front pipe with cat and res, and non res Perrin cat-back.

Simmons
You're selling everything headerback and going custom, right?

Otherwise a resonated Perrin midpipe would have fixed the raspy note completely with that set up.

It would sound similar to this with the resonated midpipe:

.

Much better IMO.

Videos forthcoming. Will update the VOD thread as well as this is some major stuff. This is with the JDL UEL header AFTER a re-tune compared to stock. The top dyno has a full Perrin unresonated exhaust, intake, E85, our tune. Bottom is stock tune catback only.

200whp NA has been broken!!! More torque in the (area formerly known as) the dip than factory peak!

Here it is against an ethanol map with the same mods but much colder day:

And after tuning it on a comparable run:

Again, the blue ethanol day was in the 40's vs today's 80 degrees, big difference despite the correction.

As expected, correlates to the g-meter perfectly! Once we get the other one we'll do some testing on pump gas to see how that does. Driving the two cars back to back is like night and day.
