Now available. Flash & Go Tunes for the Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger kit with and without Flex Fuel.

Dyno Pull on Flex Fuel with E85

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnWbI7P-8J4[/ame]

Now for the dyno data:

Dyno Chart #1
Edelbrock’s CARB Tune vs Delicious Tuning’s Edelbrock Flash & Go Tune
- Baseline Edelbrock E-Force CARB Tune on ACN 91 octane (263hp and 205tq)
- Final Delicious Tuning Edelbrock Flash & Go Tune on CAN 91 octane (265hp and 212tq)
- Torque: We were able to increase the low end torque by about 20 ft/lbs around 2500 RPM and maintain an increase to about 4000 RPM.
- Horsepower: Near the top end around 5500 RPM we were able to open up the power gap by 10hp to about redline where the Edelbrock tune meets back up with our tune.

Dyno Chart #2
- Final Delicious Tuning Edelbrock Flash & Go Tune with Flex Fuel on CAN 91 octane (265hp and 212tq)
- Final Delicious Tuning Edelbrock Flash & Go Tune with Flex Fuel on E85 (323hp and 245 tq)
- Torque: Obviously with ethanol you can make some massive improvements in torque across the board. We do have the torque ramp up as the RPM increase to make sure we do not snap any rods, but you will still feel an obvious increase as low as 2500 RPM.
- Horsepower: This is what you are all waiting for; this kit pulls really hard to redline with an extremely wide and linear powerband.

Cheers,
William Knose

Glad it fixed itself! Let's see a log when you get a moment.

This has happened 2 times for me, both on cold starts in the morning. It is fall here in WI, so it's been a lot colder than when I first had the tune installed. I don't know if that plays into it or not but during the summer I never saw this issue.

If you'd like, email me the details of your build and we can see about trying to get some diagnosis going.

Sincerely,

Zach

Delicious Flash & GO Tunes for ALL FORCED INDUCTION Applications - Q&A

Hey everyone...I've already posted this problem I've been having getting my emission readiness to show ready on the JRSC thread but I figured I'd post here as well to see if you guys have had issues with passing emissions on the Flash n Go tunes and getting those sensors to show ready.

Here's the summary of the problem:
Been driving over 800 miles so far without being able to get my O2 and catalyst monitoring to show ready. @sales@delicioustuning.com has already confirmed and sent me a "readiness" Flash n Go tune that will allow for the O2 sensor to show ready. I've unplugged my Flex fuel kit, replugged the rear O2 sensor, and flashed this "readiness" tune.

I've followed the drive cycle as illustrated on this link and have driven the car with 3/4 to 1/4 tank of gas with cold starts:
http://www.obdclearinghouse.com/inde...t_file&id=1594

For the first 700 miles...O2, catalyst monitoring, and evap would not clear. So Zach sent me another readiness tune just in case. When I flashed that, the evap miraculously showed ready...I didn't even have to drive. Go figure! But now, for the last 100 miles driven, I still can't get the O2 and catalyst to go ready. I need at least one more to show ready if I'm going to pass emissions.

My other relevant mods are JRSC, 11 psi MAP sensor, and 700cc injectors. I still have the stock exhaust manifold with both cats present. When I was on the CARB tune, getting all 3 sensors to show ready was no picnic either...it probably took easily two tanks of gas before everything showed green.

The only thing I can think of is, and I don't know if it matters, is I've been driving the car at around 60 mph instead of the 55 mph per the pdf for 3 minutes. It's hard to drive that slow on the freeway when everyone's up on you. I've also used cruise control instead of modulating the pedal.

Any other ideas? Maybe there's something I'm doing wrong or forgetting to do? Between the Flex Fuel tune and two "readiness" tunes, I have not disconnected the battery once. Again, don't know if that matters.

Looking for ideas, suggestions, etc! I'm all ears!

started to get a check engine light now that temps have dropped, I will do a data log and see if it's something I can reproduce. Love the flash and GO tune! MPG has dropped a bit now that I am running E-85.

@DeliciousTuning If I install an AEM failsafe, and replace the OEM primary o2 sensor with the one provided, how will that affect, if at all, the tune I bought from you guys?

You can't remove the primary O2, only the secondary.

If that's what you meant then it's only minor adustments, namely disabling relevant DTCs and rear O2 corrections. Depends If you want to input the AEM into the ECU.

You're correct. Removing the primary o2 would change quite a bit, since we have closed loop fuel control under wot and most other conditions all based on the stock wideband.

The appropriate DTC's and trimming are already disabled for rear o2, so you'd just disconnect the rear o2 and replace with the AEM unit. How you wire it up from there will depend on what type of control you want it to do.

Sincerely,

Zach

We have some exciting news for everyone regarding the new Edelbrock kits! Last week we were able to get our tunes for this kit dialed in even further, as well as test Edelbrock's upcoming 3"/15psi pulley! I'll let the dyno charts speak for themselves here.

All of these tests were done on 91 octane. With the 3" pulley, you will need larger injectors to support the flow! We are eagerly looking forward to getting more time with the car and extract even more power with E85. Stay tuned!

Sincerely,

Zach

Hello, i have a question.
I'm making a custom S/C build with Rotrex C30-94 (like Jackson Racing)
But i've got a better Intercooler with shorter piping and 2.5 bar omni MAP sensor.
And im thinking to put 105mm pulley (jackson racing use 110mm)

The question is, will this tune just work fine?
Or i will be needed to extra tune it?

Hello,

We can make this tune to work quite well for you. When you're ready, we can go over more details and build a tune around your custom kit.

Sincerely,

Zach
