I think he posted earlier on his other thread sometime next week. He didn't expect to throw the header on the car until after his track day saturday, but temptation got the better of him. I'm sure he'll be street logging it today to get Perrin to work on the tune a bit, so you're looking at early next week for the dyno.

With a catted header, its as quiet as youre gonna get, non catted will be louder still. I'm pretty comfy at this sound level and performance point

In the video in your signature the guy driving your car says "Is that blow-off?"

Now, I know the SC Kit doesn't have a BOV with it. Does yours have one and if so is it because you're over 9psi?

Actually the kits do come with one. I don't know if Gem is running a different one or not I know that you can't hear mine.

Its got a bypass valve. Its not as loud as a blow off valve and makes a lower wooosh noise. Since he's running a higher psi then the standard kit, the wooosh is a bit more pronounced.

From what I understand, bypass valves do not make sound because they don't vent to atmosphere, its 100% recirculated. Unless he changed it to a 50/50 BOV or something like that.

you can put a blow-off valve on a centrifugal supercharger. i had an rfl one on my procharged integra gsr.

Maybe I'm hearing something else, but even in the other Vortech videos, there is a woosh (sounds like air escaping) on throttle lift. Its very low, but I still hear it.
