Your part is here already. Just FYI, if it's an out of stock part, we can get more common items within the same or next weekday.

Yeah, I don't know-know Richard, but he had a nice looking AE86. Sold it to a customer who owned an FR-S.

Nice! I'll swing by and pick it up Saturday! Thanks again!

anybody know anyone selling an OFT? tried getting in touch with the guys at vishnu, but haven't been able to, was really looking to pick it up today or tomorrow, as I'm going to be driving up to training in chico until the 30th.

If anybody has an OEM+ system installed, I'd love to hear it.

Wrapped the dash trim, knee pad trim, and door handle trim in 3m brushed black. Dipped the vent trim, shifter surround, and steering wheel trim in black. More than likely will be ordering the actually black trim, starting with the traction control buttons.

On a side note, the 3m vinyl is very easy to work with. Very little heat was needed. And looks and feels great.

Very nice. I might want to do that. I plastidipped the dash panels, and it turned out great. But it just sucks trying to get a suction cup to stick onto it.

How does it look contrasted against the brushed look of the factory nav?

^ Thanks guys.

And against the factory brushed panel on the nav, its close but not exact. The factory brushed panel has a horizontal grain, while the dash and center console trim has a vertical grain. Can't tell anyways. lol

So I just installed springs onto my FRS and what I noticed is that in the rears, there's some slight creaking. It only happens on acceleration. Is that normal? I haven't done an alignment yet either.

Since its in the rears and you said it happens during acceleration, I'd assume its creaking during "loading". Could it be the spring perch? maybe applying some grease/lubricant on it? I've had a similar problem in the past with my wrx. The rubber the spring sits on got dry and was creeking every time it rubbed on the new king springs I installed. Not too familiar with the suspension design, but I would guess they might be similar.

It seems like its creaking during loading so you may be right. Maybe I should have wiped them down first before I installed it . I may take the rears apart once more to double check everything is in the right position and torqued to spec as well as clean them.
