We shall see when Toyota's supposed to officially announce this car in January. I don't claim to have much info, the only info I got was a confirmation the Monogram series will exist for the FR-S. Beyond that...I haven't got a clue, but seeing how its Moto-P at the minimum I got confirmation this trim exists in name...I'm hopeful we'll know everything by January 2014 as Moto-P posted.

I did as well. It was all in good fun, until he started being all secretive about what he was posting. I can't stand that. Moto posted details, which is awesome and probably 100% correct, but this guy would just talk about his "insiders" and "just wait and you'll see I was right".

If you have information to share, then share it. Otherwise stop posting. I guess he chose the latter thankfully.

I've worked in the industry long enough to know what I can post about certain vehicle development and what I can't. It's a very clear line (something I learned the hard way a few years back when I divulged some info on the 7th gen Civic).

Meh in the end, I doubt he'll be missed by many lol.

During my 10 Series purchase process I identified my Scion "contacts" in the Portland Region, the Regional Manager and District Managers where he said his "contacts" work. I talked with the Regional Manager today. Neither he nor either DM are currently in Japan.

Of course his "contacts" may well be at TMS Scion, who knows? Either way, it's not rocket science. I disclosed everything as I learned it with a smile, pleased to contribute value to this forum full of so many knowledgeable enthusiasts.

Guaranteed he's still lurking. Please come back and post pics of your Monogram before I do.

in the meantime, the real big seller (Tacoma) hasn't changed since 2005. They are Skitzo...

Precisely why the Tacoma hasn't changed much. Still a top seller! Don't mess with a good thing (when it comes to Toyota trucks, they have to stay VERY conscious of the consumer).
