Hey guys! It's been a while. I had a little set of depression from a breakup yada yada yada, but I'm back now. Still waiting for my Carbing chassis braces to come in. Looks like we've picked up a few new locals. Somebody plan a meet already!

Why don't we do a mini meet Sunday since some y'all will be in New Orleans? Maybe grab some dinner somewhere?

Cars & Coffee is typically an early AM meet of car enthusiasts at a coffee shop. The idea behind it is that an early AM meet will keep the undesirable attendees of car shows in bed and encourages people to bring out more exciting and exotic stuff. It's a national thing and can be found here.

New Orleans isn't an "official" one, but it meets in NOLA, Baton Rouge, and the Northshore occasionally. I've been to the ones in Houston and Irvine, CA which are much larger and they're a lot of fun. We had 3 FR-S out at the November meet.

There's only been 4 or 5 so far, but the one on the Northshore was held back in August at the Cafe du Monde on Hwy 21. An MP4-12C showed up. I kept seeing the guy cross the Causeway in it, but was cool to see it up close. Of course there were dozens of them at SEMA this year.

I think they're trying to have them more regularly now.

I agree about the douche bit. Of course, just about every scene seems to have their share of douches lately. I just ignore them and check out the cars.

Cool, another Hot Lava. I haven't seen another one around yet, but I'm told there's one on the West Bank. I'm in North Covington/Folsom.

New guy here from Washington Parish. Got pretty lucky in my find! Baldwin Motorsports in Covington had a SWP Limited AT on order and being delivered. Well the transport got in a wreck before it got to the dealer, smashed up pretty good(Still sitting out back). The guy that had the deposit down on it backed out for whatever reason. So now I have a deposit down and all paperwork done for the replacement car Subaru is sending them! Wasn't supposed to be delivered till 12/10 but since I'm leaving before then, they are getting them to deliver it quicker. I'm super excited!

Hey, I'm in for this. I'll be passing through NOLA after the race anyway. What were you thinking? I'd love to hit up Green Goddess, but that place gets packed so quickly these days.
