HI,

Will the strut tower brace make both the driver and passenger feel uncomfortable during the driving

compared to the stock one, due to it stiffens up the front of the car?
Thanks.

Edit: I should write "both the driver and passenger " ><

I'm sure the driver has more impact on passengers feeling uncomfortable during the drive...

Highly doubt most passengers will notice any difference in ride with the bar. Stiffer when it comes to chassis is better, it's not the suspension that is being stiffened, it's the mounting point for the suspension...and that's always a good thing, especially on a sports car. Driver will notice it, passenger not so much due to not being behind the wheel where you can perceive the difference between control input and the cars response to that input.

That'll cost what, an extra $3.50?

Can you do mine in mother of pearl, please? Don't want it to be too garish, now do we?

Any chance of a rear strutbar? Seen one that just requires a cut into the foam, instead of up into trunk area. hope to see that in the works as well.

VRacer makes several great points, with the most important being that we are increasing the stiffness of the chassis, and not the suspension itself (even though technically by reducing deflection at the suspension pick up points you will be removing an equivalent "lesser" spring rate, which equivalently speaking at least, should ever so slightly make the suspension stiffer. The effects would be so small that it would be unnoticeable to even an expert, I just figured it should be said).

However, as I've mentioned before when we were testing the prototype of the unit, I as a passenger, was able to notice a difference in nvh (noise, harshness, vibration) for the better. Our car is stock except for coilovers (and the proto brace), and going low speed through pot holes was a noticable difference with much less "jarring." No negative effects or any added harshness though.

So if anything, the passengers will not notice at all, OR if your passengers are expert automotive enthusiasts and you just so happened to have taken them for a ride a minute ago without the strut bar, and then a ride with the strut bar, then they might notice things have gotten better. Otherwise, this piece of the puzzle is just for the drivers.

Ohhhhh, sorry man, I already did yours decoupaged with crushed egg shells of the extinct Dodo bird, and then veneered the brackets with wood recovered from the Titanic, you know, to keep costs down :P

Admittedly I have been looking into it (you caught me), but the probably with what you're suggesting (and what I want to do too) is that you can't make one that hides under the cover (just requiring a few foam cuts) AND is still able to clear the spare tire. And since most people will find that removing their spare to put in a rear strut bar is completely unacceptable, I haven't looked too much further into it. I think that going over the carpet might be the only way...

Will do! We really appreciate that, and as the designer of that product I would have to say I agree Again thank you very much, we're just doing what we wished other manufacturers did/do. Hats off to the ones that do, and lots of luck to those that don't :P

Those types of "thanks" make our day. Now you've got me grinning like an idiot.

Thank you very much, we appreciate that! What that means is that I must've done something right, because that is exactly what we were shooting for. I'll add you up!

Thanks EL, I'll add you up! As far as the package deal goes, I'm not 100% sure actually. Since we are the manufacturer we're bound to sell for MSRP (or else MSRP would literally be meaningless!), so when we release products like we're doing here we want to give people the best deal that they might ever see as a "thank you" for supporting us. You get a heck of a deal, and you also get it before anyone else (sometimes even before vendors do). But since the other products have already had their group buy, sometimes it's just not something we can do. However, with that said, when we start shipping these and asking for payment I still encourage you to ask one of the sales guys that contacts you. They have the power to do things I can't, as I'm just a lowly engineer :P

Thanks again to both of ya!

Chase nailed it with this. At the very least, they'll be happy to set you up to save a good chunk on shipping.
