John called me this morning and walked me through the process. It was easy to flash the tune. I took the car out for a quick drive. I pulled out onto the main road in second and gave it some gas. I literally giggled like a school girl. The power builds immediately, the throttle response is vastly improved, the sound is.....how the hell did you change the way the car sounds??? Its got somewhat of an intake roar to it, even though its bone stock. I especially like being able to hit 60+ in second. I parked the car about an hour ago, and Im still smiling.

to John. I definitely recommend having him tune your car.

PS - Im running v1.02 of the tune, that has flat foot shifting in it?

I noticed the sound difference as well, I thought it might've been a placebo effect, but maybe not, since everyone else is noticing it as well.

How the hell did you do that with a tune, John?

The 1.02 that I have does not have flat foot or launch control on it.

The sound could be the tuning of the cam timing. Maybe its more aggresive at different RPM's causing it to sound louder? That's my guess...

I think he probably was given a ride in another car that John had with the prototype tune. The end of Brichard's post mentions he can't wait to get the update.

Definitely changes the intake note. Mine has been very noticeable since I put the Injen intake on, and the tune changed the note.

Mine too. Does it sound louder/rougher between 3K and 4K rpm?

Oh dang, sounds like good results. I'd want to drive the car with the new tune for sure. Albeit I am getting turbocharged, but I'd still really like to feel what this tune does for the car stock. There was just SO MUCH room for improvement. Let me know if anyone in the Houston area has this done to their car lol.
