I sure look fast here. It looks like I am braking hard for a turn because the nose is dropped a bit.

Check out this sequence, I am a passenger and my co-driver is instructing me on what line to take and how to drive an STX car. He did not hit any of the cones. Freaking amazing.

Affirmative. At the last Marana event I kept hitting the limiter before a feature, and it cost me a second, and so I tried to shift coming out a feature, lost it, and ran straight into a line of cones.
A lot of stuff is going on in an autox run, and any shifting adds to the complexity.

Jasper,

Are you still running stock tires? Do you have camber plates? Crash bolts?

Crash bolts are cheap. Also, next time, ask me to find somebody to drive your car so they can fine tune the suspenion for you like Elliot is doing for me.

We are going to soften the front end by going back to stock sway bar so the car sets better into turns. He was faster than me, by only by a half second or so, which meant I was very fast yesterday.

Check out the body roll.
I plan on going to the event on feb 17th at firebird.

Then let's find someone to help out with the autox suspension tuning.

Sleeper,
Are you going STX, i.e., coilovers and fat wheels, or staying mostly stock? If staying close to stock, put your street tires on your new wheels, put your new tires on the stock wheels, and put the stock intake on for autox, and run in SK1.

Sedona, AZ

I live in Sedona. Got my dark gray BRZ before Thanksgiving. I've seen a white BRZ or FRS up here but not sure if they live here. Glad to know about other Arizona owners.
