First off I'm not offering anything called drift control

But if I were I'd set it up like I explained.

With enough power when your drifting you could spin the car all the way around..

Removing some steering angle would reduce power and preventing the car from spinning around...

There's a few more things I could do, but don't have the time to screw around with that.

Well it's going to be 16 degrees tonight so hopefully that's cold enough for you guys for a cold start test. Jesus these stock tires are stupid on the ice that is everywhere. Will have to switch to pump gas in the morning because the closest e85 gas station I can find near flagstaff is in Prescott.

Nothing has changed in the flash that would have any effect on idle control.. Like nothing in the last 10 updates.

Not sure what it can be then. It was fine on the old flash, rock solid at 800 but goes between 600 and 950 on this one. Will try to reflash it and leave it to idel for longer - see if that hepls at all. Other than that the flash is great.

Yep, summer in Oz at the moment so quite warm today. Have reflashed it and off to try it again now. Will let you know how it goes.

Update - Back from decent drive after re-flashing and idle problem has disappeared. With or without A/C on the idle stayed right on 800 and the more I drive this version, the better it feels. Great job John.

There's a few more things I could do, but don't have the time to screw around with that.

I think your on the right path if anything was to be done for drifting it would be removing the nanny that kicks in during certain transitions.

I think now there is some sort of black box you can get that does it. Or I guess you can do some kind of dance, turn the car on, press the brake ect ect. It's posted somewhere else on how to remove the final TC that's built into the car.

I have a bit of drifting experience I have done several events with my 95 turbo 240sx I used to own.( Sold for this car) You don't want anything messing with wheel speed because this angle is controlled with the e brake while under power. The e brake kinda acts as your traction control but it's manual with the driver handing the modulation.

My 2 cents

Gregg

Should I turn the key and keep it turned. I think the starter will cut out automatically right? That way I can guarantee I have the key turned long enough.
