Thanks for the quick reply mate!

I'll start with the stock tunes, then try wayno's mods when I figure out how to do it. Thanks again!

So I drove a completely stock blackline edition 86 and noticed that it was much smoother on the transition from on-off and off to on throttle, is there anything in terms of software tuning that can be done to add this to the e85 tune (even if it means some extra fuel consumption) ?

You could try using one of the stock-based maf scales, which may help get back closer to the stock engine load columns in throttle, timing, fuel, avcs, etc. Not something I've tried on E85 due to the increased learning time.
For AT use MT throttle map (on E85 only).
When you add 20-30% more power over stock, try using 30% less throttle.

@Wayno, what's the reasoning behind the 25% PI at 2400-2800? If the thresholds are still OEM then this will result in 0% being output as you're below both the load and RPM thresholds.

Yep exactly zero. 2400/0.9 is a high knock area on a lot of cars.

I'm sorry if this a stupid question or it has already been answered but I did search the thread. It looks like all of your tables are related to US E85 and Australian 98 RON fuel. Is there any information for someone like me who has to run US 91 octane because of availability, would the 98RON tables be similar? Thanks.

the 98 ron ignition timing should be fine with 91 usa fuel, but always log and check

Updated today.
- A new, smoothed throttle map for AT which I've put off doing for about a year.
- Minor timing and fuel changes.
- 98 and E85 now have the same knock correction advance so base timing is directly comparable.
- 98 and E85 now have the same closed loop fuel maps, in preparation for open source flex fuel.
- 98 and E85 now have more comparable open loop fuel maps.

Super curious to see what you've been able to do. I've messed with my throttle maps a few times now to try to adjust it for the tweaked power band, but have always ended up reverting.

Why don't you just use your eyes then. There's a screenshot under what you just quoted.

As in its effectiveness, not the tables :P
