Fucks sake, this shit doesn't fit the Australian bracket.

So much for universal, not even worldwide...

You MAY have to slightly sand down the bracket on the forward side to fit (no more than 1mm).

I would be shocked if it is different for you AU guys. Post a pic of the issue you're having!

Ok, so far, I've hooked things up but not installed permanently due to a few issues. First, can't get the backup camera working, I have a rydeen duo with an RCA output and a red power cable that is supposed to get power when shifting into reverse. This worked on my stock BRZ HU with the help of SVXdc's harness. I hooked that power cable to the "Back" brown wire coming from the Ca-Fi's black harness and tried both the Reverse Video In and regular Video In with no image when shifting to reverse.

The other issue is the aux port, I'm getting audio, but it's very quiet and lacking depth. I looked at where the wires were hooking up to the AUX harness in the back and I used the blue/orange and blue/yellow pins for the white and red wires respectively and the blue/white pin for the ground (I also tried the orange for ground, no difference heard). I noticed, @SHIFTER, you mentioned you tapped into the pink/green wire, not sure if it's different on the FR-S, but I didn't see the pink wire going to the AUX port. Maybe the AUX port just sounds like crap in general, I'll live with it. But really want to get the backup camera sorted out tonight.
First of all - on the CA-FI harness did you hook up the reverse wire for the camera to turn on? this wire is not hooked up to anything on the harness when you get it. You will need to wire it in to the correct wire on the factory harness to kick it on. Simply plugging in the camera will not kick it on.

Also go into settings under car settings and make sure your reverse camera is set correctly.

As to the aux port, I had fuzzy sound when my pins where not fully seating. Check to make sure they are getting good contact. Otherwise i'll double check the exact wiring for the Aux jack in the next day or so when I get a chance to yank my unit. Its literally been a year since i wired my aux jack in for a aftermarket unit

I hooked up that reverse wire to the power wire going to my camera... I suppose that's not right, which harness pin do I attach it to, and which pin? What do I connect the camera power wire to so that it turns on when going into reverse, the same pin?

Yeah, ended up doing this + had to drill new holes, all good now, just need to rejig the front panel to fit on properly.

what was that "amp-on" wire for, and the "back" wire I'm assuming is necessary for a reverse camera?

Amp on wire goes to the one hole on your 10-pin harness that came with the Ca-Fi unit. Goes to the brown wire in 9-pin slot. Like SHIFT I took the pin from the unused SWC port (orange wire going to 6-pin harness) and soldered it to the amp wire. This helped me: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=20

As for the Back wire, that's for a reverse camera but I'm trying to figure out where that goes...

Same problem for me. Wired the reverse out from the HU to the Rydeen Duo wire, but no luck on the reverse camera. If you figure it out, please post.

So, I found this: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56517

Looks like that's where we put the "Back" wire? As for the Rydeen duo power cable, I'm not sure where I'll plug that into. I'm assuming there's no power source coming from this HU that only supplies power when in reverse like the stock HU, so I guess it's find a 12v pin I can tap.

More research done and found this: http://i.imgur.com/hKFSVgy.jpg

So not only telling us where the reverse trigger wire is, but if you look at the bottom left 3 pins, you have the AUX left, ground, and Right pins, I think my right or left is in the ground position, so that should fix my audio problem as well.

Another thing about the reverse trigger wire, it's 12v, so I'm thinking I can use that for not just the "Back" wire going into the Ca-Fi, but also the power wire going to the camera. I will try this and let you know how it goes!

Edit: I just remembered my Rydeen Duo only requires 6v, so I guess can tap into the CA+ pin to on the 16-pin harness in that picture. If anyone else has any suggestions feel free to chime in, I'm just wingin' it right now :P

I think I tapped into as 12V I have in my trunk for my amp.

Does this mean the Orange/White wire connects just to the HU, or to the HU and lead from the Rydeen Duo? Any idea?
