SDC = Subaru Distributor Corp is THE worst PERIOD.

No VON when I ordered the car. They told my dealership that they are getting 5 cars on 2 ships coming soon (May 21, 31st) but won't know which car on which ship (full VIN) until they clear the customs... Once they are unloaded from the ship dealership get last 8 digits of the VIN. And SoA can ONLY get info from what dealer knows.
Next time I will drive to southern NJ if I buy another Subaru, so I am dealing with SoA directly.

My dealer just contacted me and said that the system now shows my car as ETA by end of the month, but no VIN assigned.

My car had a 'scheduled date' of 5/23. I looked up the maritime traffic and the Garnet Leader docked in Baltimore on 5/22 at 04:20. My BRZ may be on land! The estimated ETA is 5/31.

The Gentle Leader dock in Baltimore on 5/20. I guess my BRZ could have been on either of those ships.

Awesome! I was trying to follow the boats and screwed up and thought the Altair Leader was coming to B-More but I was wrong, it docked yesterday in Texas. So I guess both boths are here! I had no VIN as of yesterday. I'll have the dealer check this weekend.

Looks like the Cepheus Leader is just pulling into the Chesapeake Bay towards Baltimore as we speak. I'm not sure where it was before Jacksonville...but the timing corresponds with what my dealer told me last week. Who knows?

That could also be the ship that my car is on. Who knows? I'm just getting antsy for my car!

I was joking. Unfortunately I doubt anyone on this forum would know what was on that ship unless they go out and start snapping photos of the dock. Seems to be the only reliable method these days.
