I would rather be pessimistic and have Toyota surprise me once they announce the production version.
I own 2IS myself. My car(AWD) is a hundred or 200 lb heavier than base model, and it's the heaviest car I have ever owned (SUV not counted). Realistically, 2IS is nowhere lighter than 3200lb.

Drifter car. Get a copy of GT5, you will know what is this car for.

Com'n people whats up with these scary numbers 6.8, 7.0, 7.5 and 8.0?

Did you forget that this is not just a subie 2.0 engine? its also with

Direct injection
Toyota "Dual" VVTi
Free Revving engine
10.5 Compression Ratio
Car Weight Under 2800 LBS

Last and not least, Only god knows what is the gear ratio of this car, I hope its 3.5 and above (More like 3.7 or so)
I think you are assuming a lot, and if you are looking for fast 0-60, you will be bitterly disappointed by this car.

For circa 2600lbs and 210hp, it doesn't get much better than 6 seconds.

VW Scirrocco R, 6.5 sec

Mazda RX-8, 5.8 sec

Celica GT-S, 7.2 sec

All similar to slightly better P/W ratios to what is assumed/speculated for an NA FT-86.

It really is pointless to guess, as we don't know what the final specs are going to be, much less the gear ratios, final drive, what tyres, lsd or no, launch control or no.... Based on popular estimates of power and weight (and the Aisin gearbox) though, I believe it will be in the six second range, low 6s on good days, high on bad days, averaging around 6.5 secs. Perhaps high 5's on rare occasions, or with bolt-ons or 1 foot roll of out. I wouldn't mind one bit if Toyota proves me wrong though.

It's not a mustang or genesis V6 guys. Willing to bet that though, around a circuit it will equal or better either.

I'd rather a 3 speed for a quarter mile with a butt load of torque than a 6 speed that revs out.. This is great handling car, not a great accelerating car
As matador and few others have said, without knowing the Full drivetrain ratios, it is useless (but fun) to speculate. And to that extent since I don't mind being disappointed, I'm gonna say 0-60 4.5 0-100 6.5 (yeah just for fun)
In reality I'd b happy with 0-60 6

Maybe not but its 0-60 may not be great since it will need to shift twice to reach 60 unless it has some crazy gear ratio.
